Thanks to my good friend and metal/mechanical artist Mike Eames, my studio now has a formal porch roof, a porch “hood” as it were. Mike and wife Alicia drove down from New York yesterday to spend the 4th with us. Yesterday afternoon we installed the porch roof, the hood of a ’65 Chevy, over the studio front door. The hood is lit with red turn signals on the front and led lights as used in police cars light up the door beneath the roof/hood. The hood is Mike’s idea, design and creation. I love it! Thanks Mike!

This safety feature reduces the chance that any high speed studios will rear-end yours. Looks great.
Very cool car idea for a cool cat studio. Art inside and out!
